Named for James A. Beaver, former Governor of Pennsylvania (1800's)
Has been rennovated several times since it was built in 1959 with a capacity of 46,284, the last renovation took place in 2001 brought the capacity to 107,282.

Nothing in the stadium itself. Downtown State College is a short walk and has well over 50 bars along College Avenue. Probably more like 100. It's hard to keep track!
In the NE Corner of the Endzone, opposite the visiting team bench. The seats extend up into the far corner of the N end zone upper level.
Nittany Lion Franks
$7.00. Do not buy at game, you'll lose it.
Single game tickets are virturally impossible to come by prior to game day itself. IF you go without a ticket, go to the south end of the stadium and walk along Curtain Rd towards the Arena for tickets. If you run into a scalper, keep going, there are plenty of Alumni that routinely sell their tickets for face value. $35-$75. Scalper prices after kick off are typically less than face value.
From the South/East (Harrisburg/Philadelphia): US322 West to State College. You CANNOT miss the stadium.
From the West: US22/322E/I-99N to State College. Again, if you can't find Beaver Stadium in State College, it's time to stop drinking.
