The Arthur Ashe stadium, part of Flushing Meadows Park is home to the main events of the US Open which is part of the Tennis Grand Slam tour. The ground was built in 1997, replacing the Luis Armstrong Stadium as the primary tennis stadium in the open. All the important games are played here. The stadium holds a total of 22,547 spectators and also has 90 luxury / executive boxes making it the largest dedicated Tennis venue in the world.
