The Arthur Ashe stadium, part of Flushing Meadows Park is home to the main events of the US Open which is part of the Tennis Grand Slam tour. The ground was built in 1997, replacing the Luis Armstrong Stadium as the primary tennis stadium in the open. All the important games are played here.
The stadium holds a total of 22,547 spectators and also has 90 luxury / executive boxes making it the largest dedicated Tennis venue in the world. The stadium also has five restaurants and two players lounges.

There are five resturants within the stadium complex and additional facilities around the Flushing Meadows complex.
It is recommended to use public transportation to get to Flushing Meadows Park.
Metro You can get to the complex on Metro line 7 and getting off at the Willets Point-Shea Stadium station.
Bus The Q48 bus in Queens goes directly to Shea Stadium, alternatively take a bus to 'Grand Central Station' and take metro line 7 to the Willets Point-Shea Stadium station.
