Leicester County Cricket Ground was built in 1878 although Leicestershires first match was not played until April 1879.
Leicestershire CCC moved away from the ground between 1901 and 1945 and played on Aylestone Road
Grace Road has two ends, known as 'The Pavilion End' and 'The Bennett End'
Leicestershire CCC also have a museum on the history of Leicestershire CCC and Cricket and has models of plast players, entry to it is free, it is open on match days.

Train / From City Centre: Aylestone Road or Saffron Lane, it is approximately 2 miles from the South of the City Centre
Junction 21 on M1/M69 intersection: take A46 to Leicester, after approx. 1 mile take left slip road to Roundabout on A563. Turn left at A426 to Leicester. Grace is signposted off main road.
