Goodison Park, home to Everton FC was opened on 24th August 1882 with a game against Bolton Wanderers, Everton won the game 4-2. The record attendance was 78,299 during a local derby between Everton and Liverpool in 1948 on the 18th September
Everton are looking at moving out of Goodison Park to a new stadium but are still deciding on what to do. Plans could involve moving to a £500m stadium on the banks of the river Mersey.

Away Supporters are located in the Bullens Road Stand the seats in the stand are wooden and many views are obstructed by pillors. There is an away allocation of around 3,000 tickets.
From the North
Approaching on the M6 exit at junction 26 onto the M58 and continue until the end. At junction 7 turn left onto the A59 Ormskirk Road. Continue on this road until it becomes Rice Lane and cross over the roundabout into County Road. After 1/4 mile turn left into Everton Valley and then Walton Lane. Goodison Road and the ground are on the left.
From the South:
Approaching from the M6 exit at junction 21a onto the M62. Exit the M62 at junction 4 and get onto the A5080. At the junction with A5058 turn right and continue along this road as it becomes Queens Drive. Continue to the junction with Walton Road and turn left onto the A580 Walton Lane. Goodison and the ground are on the right.
From the East:
Approaching from the M62 exit at junction 4 and get onto the A5058 and then follow the route above.
