Description:
Gateshead International Stadium is Tyneside's main Track and Field venue which holds almost 12,000 spectators, 3,300 of which are covered. The stadium was originally opened in August 1955 and was then known as the Gateshead Youth Stadium. The stadium plays host to international sporting events and musics concerts. There is also an indoor runnnig track and a 91m warmup straight at the centre. Gateshead International Stadium
