The Britania Stadium was built in 1997 to replace the ageing Victoria Groundand is home to Stoke City. The Capacity of the stadium is 28,383 although can be increased by filling in two of the corners if needed in the future. The pitch is approximately 4m below ground level.
The record attendance at the Britannia Stadium was 28,218 during a game against Everton during the FA Cup 3rd Round on January 5th 2002.
