Bloomfield Road is the home of Blackpool and was first opened in 1899. The stadium is currently undergoing redevelopment and will eventually hold approximately 16,000 spectators all covered and seated. At the moment there is an L-shaped stand on the west and north sides of the ground, a tempraory stand on the east side for away fans and an open space of land where there are some foundations being built for the south stand which will once complete connect up to the west stand and look very similar to the current north stand.

The away stand is on the east side of the ground and is a temporary structure the likes of which you would more often see at a golf course for the open than at a football ground. This stand holds 1,700 seated and will hopefully be replaced by 2007.
