Description:
The Beijing National Aquatics Centre will be a 100,000 cubic metre complex which will host the swimming and diving competitions for the 2008 Beijing Olympics. The centre will be located adjacent to the Beijing National Stadium. It will seat 17,000 spectators, made up of 6,000 permanent seats and 11,000 temporary seats that will be removed once the games have finished.
Beijing Water Cube
The Beijing National Aquatics Centre is also known as the 'Water Cube'. It is seen here with the 2008 Olympic Stadium.
