The Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit is a motor racing venue based on Phillip Island, Victoria. Originally there was a circuit 2km away from the current location which was in use from 1926, and was home to the Australian Grand Prix from 1926 to 1936.
In 1951 the circuit was redesigned and is home of V8 Supercars Championship Series, as well as a regular MotoGP and Superbike. The circuit can accommodate 150,000 spectators.
Phillip Island may play host to the Formula 1 Grand Prix in the future, sharing with Albert Park in Melbourne.
